Hells Angels court case begins

A total of 22 Hells Angels will appear in court in Amsterdam on Monday on charges ranging from membership of a criminal organisation to drugs possession, illegal weapons and violence.

The court case results from a string of raids at Hells Angels club houses across the country in October 2005 in which 49 people were arrested.
Efforts by the public prosecution service earlier this year to have the Hells Angels organisation banned failed.
