MPs want action on street-corner youth

Parliament is to hold a public hearing into the problem of hangjongeren – kids hanging out on street corners (reputedly) causing trouble.


Labour (PvdA) MP Staf Depla told Radio 1 news that the aim was to help MPs better understand the problems caused by youngsters hanging around. In particular, they are becoming younger and more likely to be involved in crime, Depla said.
