Lawyer Böhler sets her sights on Senate

Lawyer Britta Böhler – known for representing Kurdish rebel leader Abdullah Öcalan, Pim Fortuyn's murderer Volkert van der G. and former Dutch MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali – is high on GroenLinks' list of candidates for the Eerste Kamer, or Senate. German-born Böhler said she wants to play an active role in politics.
