Health premiums set to rise

Health insurance premiums are set to rise by at least €109 next year to some €1,134 per adult, calculates the government’s CPB policy unit.

Meanwhile, the Dutch hospitals association is taking health minister Hans Hoogervoorst to court following the publication of yesterday’s budget, the Volkskrant reports. The association wants the courts to block a €192 mln cut in funding which the minister plans to make after hospitals overspent their budgets.
