Thursday is set to be sunny and warm, with temperatures heading towards 20 Celsius in the south and there will be little wind, apart from on the coast.

Some cloud may move into the south in the afternoon, but there will be no rain and the night will be clear and warm as well, the KNMI weather bureau said. It will be windy at times in coastal areas.

Friday morning will also start out sunny and warm with temperatures similar to today. But cloud will gather on Friday evening and there will be some overnight rain.

The weekend will be a mixed bag of rain and sunny spells, with temperatures in the mid teens. Next week too will be mainly dry with sunny spells and similar temperatures.

The KNMI’s long term forecast says that more rain and lower temperatures will be with us from mid October, when the half term holidays start. Weerplaza puts the shift in temperatures at the middle of next week.
