Four men have been jailed for three years and teenager given the maximum juvenile detention term of two years for the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Den Bosch in 2019.

The rapes came to light after three girls, then aged 15 and 16, made made separate reports to the police about being raped by a group of men. The girls said they had been groomed via social media, lured to a garage in Den Bosch and then raped several times.

The youngest member of the gang, said to be the ringleader, was earlier convicted of raping another girl. A third girl eventually refused to press charges, saying she feared both the gang and that she would not be believed, local media reported.
