Ajax out of Champions League after losing to Barcelona
Amsterdam football club Ajax is out of the Champions League after losing 2-0 at home to Barcelona.
Lionel Messi scored in both halves to put out the Dutch league champions, who now have the chance of a place in the Europa League.
Meanwhile, both PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord of Rotterdam are in Europa League group action on Thursday night.
PSV take on Athens side Panathinaikos away while Feyenoord is at home to Croatian side NHK Rijeka. PSV drew the first leg against the Greek team two weeks ago and are currently second in group E.
Feyenoord lost their first match against the Croats and are trailing in group G with three points.
