No more refunds for train users who forgot their season ticket

Dutch railway company NS is to stop refunding people who are forced to buy a ticket because they forgot their season ticket, the Telegraaf reports on Monday.

Currently, train users are allowed to claim a maximum of three refunds a year but the clause has now been dropped from the NS terms and conditions.

The rule has been scrapped to stop abuse of the system, the NS said.
