Companies, good causes raise €32m through crowdfunding

Dutch start-ups and other businesses raised €32m through crowdfunding last year, more than double the 2012 total, according to Douw&Koren, which advises firms on fund-raising.

The increase was largely booked by commercial operations with the growth in crowdfunding by good causes and creative organisations rising less sharply, Douw&Koren said.
