Nijmegen mayor stands down
Nijmegen mayor Thom de Graaf is standing down to take on the new job as chairman of the hbo college council.
De Graaf will replace Guusje ter Horst, the same person he replaced as mayor in 2007.
De Graaf, who also has a seat in the upper house of parliament or senate on behalf of the D66 Liberals, said he had already decided not to go for a second term in office in Nijmegen.
