Louis van Gaal is set to be trainer at German football club Bayern Munich next season, Dutch media report on Wednesday.

Nos tv reports that his current club AZ Alkmaar has reached a deal with Bayern over the move. Van Gaal’s contract with AZ, which he took to the league title this year, has another year to run. It is not known how much money Bayern has paid AZ to break the contract, Nos reports.
But AZ’s director of football told news agency ANP that Nos was premature and that no deal has been reached. ‘We understand that Bayern will make an approach on Wednesday,’ he said.
