Lower bonuses for Heineken top execs

Senior executives at brewing group Heineken are to get lower bonuses over 2008 because ‘not all the targets were reached’.

CEO Jean-Francois van Boxmeer gets a bonus of €611,000, almost half 2007’s extra payout, reports the Financieele Dagblad. Including basic salary, share options and pension contributions, Van Boxmeer will have earned under €2m last year, the paper says. In 2007 he earned a total of €2.5m.
CFO Rene Hooft Graafland got a pay package of €1.3m last year, 17% down on 2007, the paper says.
