RBS cleans up its Dutch client list

Royal Bank of Scotland is examining its list of Dutch business customers to assess their likely income and crisis survival chances, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Friday, citing bank sources.

The paper says Dutch companies and other financial institutions are concerned that RBS, which yesterday announced record losses, is no longer totally committed to the Dutch market.
Earlier this week it emerged that RBS had won the contract to process Dutch government financial transactions.
