Prosecutor to appeal on ‘homo’ insult
The public prosecution department in Den Bosch is to appeal a ruling by magistrates that it is not insulting to call a policeman a ‘homo’. The magistrates found a 19-year-old man not guilty of insulting behaviour, saying that the word ‘homo’ was only an insult when used in certain contexts.
