Climate change leads to earlier eggs
Songbirds are laying their eggs a week earlier than they did in the 1980s because of global warming, according to bird protection group Vogelbescherming.
The 45 species monitored used to lay their eggs on average by May 11, but since 2005 the date has moved to May 4, the organisation said on Thursday.
