Home workers should benefit from more tax breaks and allowances, says employers organisation VNO-NCW which wants junior finance minister Jan Kees de Jager to take action on this issue.

One of the measures the organisation has called for is increasing the maximum payment allowed for setting up a home office from €1,815 to €3,000. Stimulating home working will reduce traffic jams and boost economic growth, the employers say.
