Union says 42-hour week OK
Construction union CNV Bouw says workers should be allowed to do a 42-hour week on a voluntary basis instead of the standard 36-hour week. The union has also called for a 3% pay rise. The demands come at the start of the annual building sector pay and conditions (CAO) talks.
