Briefs: teacher suspended over handshake

A female teacher from the Vader Rijn school in Utrecht has been suspended for refusing to shake mens’ hands. The school argues that the teacher should be setting an example and making sure pupils learn to shake hands in greeting. The case has been brought before the equal opportunities commission.
