Three of the Netherlands’ top rated energy-related startup incubator programmes have joined forces to allow fledgling firms to apply for all three initiatives at the same time.

Rockstart, YES!Delft and InnoEnergy have agreed to offer a joint application and selection process for their startup programmes in 2018.

Rockstart has been running its Smart Energy programme since 2014. ‘Every year we receive a number of applications from very promising startups, for which the time is not right to join us,’ said Freerk Bisschop, who heads the Rockstart programme.

‘Energy XL is there to solve this mismatch and make sure each team gets the support, guidance and empowerment it needs.’ Startups have until May 6 to apply for a place.

Startups are the rock stars of business, says Oscar Kneppers.
