The Doniger Fashion Group, which had taken over the troubled Gaastra, McGregor and Adam clothing stores, requested court administration on Monday, one step short of declaring bankruptcy.

Doninger and the curator are seeking  a solution for employees, creditors and others involved, according to web news site nu.nl.

All Gaastra, McGregor and Adam shops remain open and have a total of 600 full-time employees. The company has 75 shops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany; 53 are located in the Netherlands.

When McGregor went bust last year it restarted under the name Doniger Fashion Group, taking over all the McGregor and Gaastra activities.
