The three Dutch sisters representing the Netherlands at next week’s Eurovision Song Contest have had their first rehearsal in Kiev with a performance well-received by the press, local broadcaster Omroep Brabant said.

OG3NE – pronounced ohjean – is made up of sisters Lisa, Amy and Shelley, who are known for their close harmonies. The girls won the Voice of Holland talent show in 2014 after previously representing the Netherlands in the Junior Song Festival 10 years ago.

Their song Lights and Shadows was written by their father and is an ode to their mother, who is seriously ill.

‘We’re going out to win and we hope to make the Netherlands proud,’ Shelley said at the song’s launch. ‘At least everyone will know we have done the very best we can.’

OG3NE will be the sixth on stage in next week’s semi-final on May 11.
