A 23 year-old man identified by the Telegraaf as Nicky of reality show Oh oh daar gaan we weer (Oh oh here we go again) has been fined €350 fine for insulting the police on his vlog.

According to the public prosecution office, the man was caught driving up a one way street from the wrong direction in January. As the policemen were issuing the fine the man took his camera and announced he was filming them.

He then invited his three-year-old son to join him front of the camera and said ‘And what do you say to the policemen?’ at which he gave them the finger. The little boy followed his example which the man followed up with a ‘Fuck you’.

He posted the footage on the shock blog Dumpert where it went viral.

The public prosecution office think it ‘reprehensible that the man insults police officers who are doing their jobs and then promotes this sort of behaviour (especially in the presence of a young child)’.

Apart from having to pay the fine the man also has to remove the vlog and post another vlog in which he apologises.
