Air France-KLM faces a possible multi-million euro fine from the EU for participating in an air freight cartel. Other European airlines are also involved, the Telegraaf said on Thursday.

This is not the first time that the EU has looked into air freight transporters, the paper said. Air France-KLM was fined €310m in 2010, but this was later reversed by the European Court of Justice.

Fines against airlines totalling €800m were also rejected by the court at the same time.
