Man, 49, who worked in childcare is arrested for child pornography
A 49-year-old man who worked for a childcare group in Bussum for 15 years has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.
The man was arrested at the end of January after being alerted by US investigators. They were tracing the origins of child pornography found in the Dropbox online storage system.
Parents were informed about the arrest on Tuesday evening. One mother told the AD that the man was popular with both adults and children. Others said that complaints had been made about the man which were not investigated.
The public prosecution department says there is no evidence that the man had committed offences against the children in his care. He worked at both a daycare centre and an after-school club.
