Heineken extends Champions League sponsorship

Amsterdam-based brewer Heineken has extended its sponsorship of the Champions League football competition until the summer of 2021, the Telegraaf said on Thursday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Heineken has been a sponsor of the UEFA showcase since 1994, at first with its Amstel brand, but from 2005 under the Heineken name.

Heineken says the Champions League attracts more than 4.2 billion viewers worldwide.
