Dutch clubs Ajax and AZ in Europa League football action
Dutch football clubs Ajax and AZ are both in action in the Europa league on Thursday night as the only two Dutch sides left in European competition.
Alkmaar side AZ are at home to Olympique Lyon, the current number four in the French premier division. The kick-off is at 7pm.
Amsterdam’s Ajax meets Legia Warsaw in Poland at 9pm. Legia was pushed out of the Champions League at the group stage.
The return legs take place next week, on February 23.
Last year’s Eredivisie winner PSV failed to make it through the group stage of the Champions League and Feyenoord and Heracles both stumbled in the Europa League.
