Volleyball killings: two jailed for 34 years by Spanish court
Two of the gang accused of murdering Dutch volleyball international Ingrid Visser and her partner have been jailed for 34 years by a Spanish court.
A third defendant, who was not involved in the murder but did help cut up the couple, will spent five months in jail.
The bodies of Ingrid Visser and Lodewijk Severin were found buried in a shallow grave in a lemon grove close to a house in the village of AlquerÃas, some 12 kilometres from Murcia, in May 2014. They had been brutally beaten.
The killings are said to be the result of business conflict between Visser and Severein and Spaniard Juan Cuenca.
