Unemployment continues to fall, hits 5.7% end September
The unemployment total in the Netherlands fell again the third quarter of the year, taking the jobless rate to 5.7% of the working population, the national statistics office CBS said on Monday.
In total, the number of people without a job of at least 12 hours a week fell by 84,000 to 510,000 in the third quarter.
People are also beginning to find jobs more quickly, particularly the under 25s, the CBS said.
