The names of another 15 people have been added to the Dutch terrorism list, bringing the total to 76, foreign affairs minister Bert Koenders said on Thursday.

The majority are involved in terrorist activities in Iraq and Syria, the ministry statement said.

People who are included in the list have their assets in the Netherlands frozen. Friends and family are also banned from giving money to people on the list and face a fine or jail if they do so.

The Netherlands shares the list with the rest of the EU. ‘It is important that our European partners know who is a terrorist threat and whose assets need to be frozen,’ Koenders said.
