PSV kick off Champions League campaign with a home loss
Eindhoven football club PSV kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 0-1 home loss against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
Midfielder Saul Ñíguez scored the only goal of the game in the 42nd minute. PSV had a chance to equalize with a penalty but Andrés Guardado failed tos score. PSV have missed their last three penalties in Champions League fixtures.
The other Group D dual between Bayern Munich and FK Rostov resulted in a 5-0 win for the Germans.
