Two of the Netherlands’ biggest private education groups are joining forces and plan to launch a private hbo college, the Financieele Dagblad said on Tuesday.

The NCOI group, which offers adult education and college degrees, is taking over the Luzac school organisation from Nordian Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum.

NCOI , which took over the Schoevers educational group last year, has an annual turnover of some €200m. The Luzac group, which runs secondary school education programmes, had sales of €30m in 2015. Some 2,000 pupils study at Luzac schools around the country.

NCOI now plans to launch four or five bachelor degrees under the Luzac flag from next academic year. Commercial economics, law and information science are among the subjects under consideration, the FD said.
