Insurance company ASR and newly-listed Philips Lighting will both be included in the Amsterdam stock exchange’s Midcap index from September 19, bourse company Euronext said.

The AEX blue chip index remains unchanged in the autumn shuffle.

Philips Lighting, spun off by the electronics giant in May, has risen 10% since its IPO. By contrast, ASR, which was listed in June, has gone down 4.5%.

Property company NSI and food group Wessanen leave the Midcap for the small cap index to make way for the newcomers.  Basic-Fit, ForFarmers and SIF, all of which also listed this year, will be included in the small cap index, replacing AND, DPA, Holland Colours, Brill and Neways.
