Britain has deported a Polish national to the Netherlands who was responsible for a fatal car accident in 2013 so he can serve a jail term, broadcaster NOS reports.

In 2013, the man drove into a couple and their grandchild who were on a cycle track in Limburg, killing all three. He had been driving too fast and lost control of the wheel.

The 35-year-old was sentenced to 15 months in jail and banned from driving for four years by appeal court judges last September.

He has now been arrested in England where he was doing seasonal work and has been sent back to the Netherlands to serve his sentence, NOS said.
