Anicka van Emden wins judo bronze for the Netherlands

Anicka van Emden has become the Netherlands’ second medal winner of the Rio Olympics, with a judo bronze.

The 29-year-old’s performance was celebrated in the Heineken House, where all Dutch medal winners are cheered on by their supporters. The Dutch judo association has set its sights on three medals during the games.

Cyclist Anna van der Breggen won the first Dutch gold of the games on Sunday in the road race.

Several Dutch athletes with medal chances are in action on Wednesday.
