Albanian murderers arrested after letting their dog run free

Police in Rotterdam have arrested two Albanian nations wanted for murder in Italy after stopping them because their dog was not on a lead.

The men were out walking in the city when the police approached them about the dog. They were arrested after handing over false Romanian id cards.

It then transpired the duo, aged 25 and 31, had been sentenced to 30 year jail terms in Italy. They are now awaiting deportation, website politie.nl said on Tuesday.
