Students regret train ride stunt as Veolia says it will press charges

boys on trainTwo Nijmegen students who jumped from a viaduct onto a train and filmed themselves travelling on the roof of a carriage face legal action by train firm Veolia.

One of the duo, Willem Vink who is 18, told radio station Qmusic they have been extremely shocked by the reactions to the stunt. The four-minute video was placed on Willem’s YouTube channel.

‘We are heading to Veolia now with flowers and cake. We are really shocked,’ he said. ‘It has been no fun reading the reactions.’

Vink told NOS radio earlier that he ‘lived for kicks’. ‘I like to entertain people with videos of stuff that has never been done, just for fun.’

Veolia described the stunt as ‘potentially deadly’ and said they would be pressing charges.
