Dutch could be set for their most successful Olympics ever

June 8, 2016

rio olympics logoThe Netherlands could be looking forward to its most successful Olympics ever, if the virtual medal table put together by sports information group Gracenote proves to be correct.

Gracenote suggest the Netherlands could win as many as 29 medals during the games, four more than its record 25 during the Sydney Olympics of 2000.

However, Dafne Schippers, widely tipped to win the sprint double, will only take bronze in the 100 metres, Gracenote says.
