Biotech firm Galapagos to replace TNT in AEX index
Biotechnology company Galapagos will be included in the main Amsterdam stock exchange index, the AEX, from June 20.
Galapagos, which closed on the midcap index at €50.66 on Wednesday, will move upwards to replace TNT Express, the parcel delivery firm which is being delisted following its acquisition by Fedex.
The Refresco group and food company Wessanen will join the midcap and their places on the smallcap index will be taken by AND International Publishers and Holland Colours.
There are 25 stocks in the AEX, in which ING, Shell and Unilever have the heaviest weighting.
