The 32-year-old French national arrested in Rotterdam in March because of his links to a terrorist network which played a key role in the Paris and Brussels attacks is to be extradited to France.

Judges in Amsterdam ruled on Thursday that Anis B can be sent back to face charges. He will be deported within 10 days, the public prosecution department said.

Anis B was arrested on behalf of the French authorities with three Algerian nationals after leaving his home in the west of Rotterdam 2.5 months ago. Police who searched the property also found ammunition, telephones, sim cards, money and drugs.

B is said to have been in Syria with a man named as Reda Kriket. Kriket was arrested in Paris in March on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack.
