Ten people have been arrested following the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man in Dordrecht towards the end of Thursday afternoon.

The suspects left the scene of the shooting in several cars but one car lost its bumper with number plate at the scene, allowing police to trace the owner. Three men were later arrested in Breda.

Later in the evening, four men were arrested at a home in Raamsdonksveer, as were two others in a car outside the property. A tenth man reported to police in Breda later.

Police say they do not know what triggered the shooting. Due to the warm weather, many people were outside and there were several witnesses.
