New website for German fans of Dutch royals
Such is the popularity of the Dutch royal family that it has just launched a new website for fans…in Germany.
The German version of the Dutch ‘royal house’ website is called koeningshaus.nl and it has been developed because this week the Netherlands’ King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are visiting Bavaria.
Their trip, on Wednesday and Thursday, is to ‘strengthen the broad mutual relations between the Netherlands and Bavaria’, and the minister for foreign trade, Lilianne Ploumen, will also be in attendance.
The new site has information about the Dutch royals’ history, visiting schedule and official pictures. A French version was posted before a state visit to France, and there has been an English version ‘for some time’, according to Nos.
