Anti-immigration campaigner Geert Wilders has been following porn star Kim Holland and Donald Duck via a secret Twitter account, RTL news says on Tuesday.

The account was discovered after Wilders mistakenly used his secret account to send out a message about the PVV’s record support in an opinion poll.

Wilders is notorious for not following anyone on his official Twitter account despite having 661,000 followers.

As well as the porn star and cartoon characters, Wilders also followed dozens of journalists and prominent figures who have left the PVV, RTL says.

Asked about the secrecy, Wilders said it was useful to have a second account so he could communicate directly with KLM about air travel without all his followers getting to know his movements.

He also said he was not aware that he followed Kim Holland.

Wilders has since deleted all the account’s tweets and said he would open a new, secret account to replace it.
