Mild weather set to continue, no winter in sight

daffodils springThe temperature will continue to remain above average for the time of year, particularly in southern parts of the country, the KNMI weather bureau said on Wednesday,

There will be sunny periods at times but some showers in the mornings and afternoons.

However the warm temperatures will be accompanied by strong winds, especially in coastal areas over the Christmas break. It will remain no lower than 12 Celsius, the KNMI said. December is on target to be the warmest December month on record.
