Johan Cruyff has ‘health issues’, statement due later today
Former Dutch international and Ajax football guru Johan Cruyff is due to make an announcement about his health later on Thursday.
Spanish media are reporting that Cruyff has lung cancer and that the disease was discovered in a Barcelona hospital on Tuesday. The 68-year-old is now undergoing tests to determine what stage the cancer is at, local media reports say.
Cruyff’s management have confirmed he has ‘health issues’, news agency ANP says.
