Greece bail-out costs VVD three seats: poll
The VVD coalition party has paid the price for its decision to support a third bail-out for Greece with the loss of three seats, according to a poll conducted at the weekend.
The Maurice de Hond poll shows that 60% of voters and 45% of VVD voters disagree with the decision.
This translate into a loss of three seats, putting the right-wing liberals on 21 seats, the poll shows.
Coalition partners Labour are stable at nine seats, while the anti-Islam PVV gains two seats, putting it on 24 and making it in this poll the biggest party in parliament.
Of the other main opposition parties, the Christian Democrats (CDA) is up one seat to 24 and the left-wing liberal D66 up one seat to 18.
Parliament voted last week for the latest Greece bail-out of €86bn, with the Netherlands contributing €5bn.
The De Hond poll shows that 88% of the Dutch voters do not think the Netherlands will get its money back.
