Tourist numbers set to rise 100,000 this summer
Some 3.2 million tourists are expected to spend part of the summer in the Netherlands this year, a rise of 100,000 on 2014, according to the NBTC tourist board.
Germans and Belgians account for the bulk of the increase, with Germany providing one-third of the total number of foreign visitors. The Dutch coast is a major draw for summer visitors.
The number of Dutch nationals holidaying in the Netherlands is unchanged from last year at around 4.5 million, the NBTC said.
