Brink’s workers in negotiations with competitor G4S

Brinks vanWorkers from money transport company Brink’s Nederland are in talks on Monday with competitor G4S, Trouw reports.

According to the CNV trade union, everyone who is suitable will be employed by G4S, but the new money transporter for Rabobank and ABN Amro has not announced what the working conditions will be.

‘No one wants a situation where he or she has to wait to see if the contract is renewed every year,’ the union says.

Brink’s workers are currently on strike because the company plans to sack 600 out of 1,000 staff after losing the contract to fill Rabobank and ABN Amro cashpoint machines.
