Ajax lose 3-1 to Paris Saint Germain in Champions League
Amsterdam football club Ajax lost 3-1 away to Paris Saint-Germain in their Champion’s League tie on Tuesday evening.
Former Ajax player Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored once and Edinson Cavani put the ball away twice for the Group F leaders while Davy Klaassen scored for Ajax. The teams drew in their tie at the Arena in Amsterdam two months ago.
In the other Group F game, APOEL Nicosia lost 4-0 at home to FC Barcelona. This means Ajax remains third in the group, one point ahead of APOEL and is in with a chance of Europa League matches after the winter break.
Ajax and APOEL meet in the Arena on December 10.
