Man and child in hospital after cargo bike ends up in canal
A man and child are seriously ill in hospital after their cargo bike ended up in a canal in Brabant, broadcaster Nos said on Monday.
A second child was able to climb out of the Zuid-Willemsvaart. It is not clear how the bike ended up in the water.
The man was pulled out of the canal and the second child was found by the emergency services shortly afterwards. A helicopter ambulance and divers were involved in the rescue, Nos said.
