Ajax without a win so far in Champions League
Amsterdam football club Ajax came away from Tuesday night’s Champions League group F match against Apoel in Nicosia with a 1-1 draw.
It took Ajax 28 minutes into the first half to score when Lucas Andersen scored after a save by Urko Pardo. But the Cypriots equalised just three minutes later from a penalty.
Ajax’ next Champions League match – against Barcelona – is on October 21.
